Benevolence Ministry

Caring for those in need both in our community and within our ministry is a priority at CCCM. Donations ensure that we can apply as much support as possible to the appropriate areas during these difficult economic times. We endeavor to donate to well established charities, purchase necessities for the sick and shut in and address urgent needs in the community. With treasury board approval, we support those needs for members in the community as well as for the CCCM members.

Street Ministry

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise (Proverbs 11:30)

We must go out and compel the people in our community to come to Jesus. Winning souls for the kingdom is imperative in this ministry, so once a month, we take our church service to the streets to let the community know that Jesus is the way, truth and the light. It is our constant goal to be a lighthouse in a community that has been devastated by satanic forces.

Couples Ministry

Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh Ephesians 5:31-32

The purpose of the Married Couples’ Ministry is to help build and enhance healthy relationships for our married couples through the wisdom of the Word of God as well as provide empowering educational tools that will maximize marriages to their fullest potential in every area. It is our vision to help couples thrive in their marriage providing which will in turn play a role in mentoring those who desire to be married as well as foster an environment that supports the God-given family structure.

To learn and develop marriage enrichment and communication skills, and create events and support services that will lead to an extraordinary marriage. We plan to host and plan:

  • Worship Services
  • Premarital/Marital Counseling
  • Anniversary Celebrations
  • Seminars/Classes
  • Fun Outings

Prison Correspondence Ministry

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them who suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body (Hebrews 13:3)

Those who are imprisoned need the Word of God to be ministered to them more than ever before. There are countless inmates who have been abandoned by friends who promised to support them and family members who were suppose to love them. The Prison Correspondence Ministry gives us an opportunity to reach out and encourage inmates through handwritten or typed letters. These letters contain uplifting words from scriptures and are geared toward winning souls from behind bars. Being able to send out letters to inmates provides an opportunity for those who aren’t able to physically go to the prisons to be a blessing to spread the Gospel to them and ultimately win souls for God’s kingdom.

Community Outreach Ministry

15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. (James 2:15-17)

There are many that our society has labeled as social outcasts in our community due to addictive behavior, mental illness, criminal activity etc. However, we believe that God has no respect of person. It is His will that none should perish but all come to repentance. The only way that the world will know that we belong to Jesus and want to seek Him for themselves, is through the display of love. A few ways that we accomplish this in our community is: Once a month, we have a 3-course dinner for special homes. We also host a “Dress to Impress” event for less fortunate men and women in the community who cannot afford or don’t know how to properly groom themselves. Community Chapel has set out to encourage and convert as many souls as possible in our community through love. We don’t want to just preach to our community, but we also want to service them in providing food, clothes, and life skills information. This effort is accomplished weekly on Tuesdays when we serve food and provide clothes for the community. We also give out holiday baskets including food and gifts on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Most importantly, we deliver the Word of God that the community would hear about the Gospel and see the love of Christ in action.

Singles Ministry

He who is unmarried cares for the things of the Lord - how he may please the Lord (I Cor 7:33)

Single men and women are in a prime position to serve the Lord with everything they have. We believe that our single men and women should have God-centered lives completely dedicated to pleasing the Lord. The Singles Ministry welcomes, nurtures, and encourages Christ-centered growth, service and celebration of singleness. The objectives of this ministry are to:

  • Engage singe adults through the Word of God and prayer
  • Discover and follow God's plans for their lives
  • Provide Godly, fun-filled, and information packed activities/events to foster wholeness

Sozo Dance Ministry

“Let them praise his name in the dance…” (Psalms 149:3)

Dancing is a beautiful form of praise and worship unto God. This ministry is designed to bring honor and praise to God, to encourage God’s people and to bring about deliverance. Through anointed dance and expression of worship, we seek to see yokes of bondage destroyed, demonic high places and strong holds brought down, and a manifestation of break through.

We believe in utilizing dance to invoke God’s presence and an atmosphere of worship.

Sheppard’s Care Ministry

Sis. Valerie Whitfield, Coordinator

Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,“ and, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.” (I Timothy 5:17-18)
