MINISTRIES

Community Outreach Ministry

“15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. (James 2:15-17)”

There are many that our society has labeled as social outcasts in our community due to addictive behavior, mental illness, criminal activity etc. However, we believe that God has no respect of person. It is His will that none should perish but all come to repentance. The only way that the world will know that we belong to Jesus and want to seek Him for themselves, is through the display of love. A few ways that we accomplish this in our community is: Once a month, we have a 3-course dinner for special homes. We also host a “Dress to Impress” event for less fortunate men and women in the community who cannot afford or don’t know how to properly groom themselves. Community Chapel has set out to encourage and convert as many souls as possible in our community through love. We don’t want to just preach to our community, but we also want to service them in providing food, clothes, and life skills information. This effort is accomplished weekly on Tuesdays when we serve food and provide clothes for the community. We also give out holiday baskets including food and gifts on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Most importantly, we deliver the Word of God that the community would hear about the Gospel and see the love of Christ in action.

Sozo Dance Ministry

“Let them praise his name in the dance…” (Psalms 149:3)”
Dancing is a beautiful form of praise and worship unto God. This ministry is designed to bring honor and praise to God, to encourage God’s people and to bring about deliverance. Through anointed dance and expression of worship, we seek to see yokes of bondage destroyed, demonic high places and strong holds brought down, and a manifestation of break through. We believe in utilizing dance to invoke God’s presence and an atmosphere of worship.

Couples Ministry

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh Ephesians 5:31-32” The purpose of the Married Couples’ Ministry is to help build and enhance healthy relationships for our married couples through the wisdom of the Word of God as well as provide empowering educational tools that will maximize marriages to their fullest potential in every area. It is our vision to help couples thrive in their marriage providing which will in turn play a role in mentoring those who desire to be married as well as foster an environment that supports the God-given family structure.

Goals

To learn and develop marriage enrichment and communication skills, and create events and support services that will lead to an extraordinary marriage. We plan to host and plan:
  • Worship Services
  • Premarital/Marital Counseling
  • Anniversary Celebrations
  • Seminars/Classes
  • Fun Outings

Prison Correspondence Ministry

“Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them who suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body (Hebrews 13:3)”

Those who are imprisoned need the Word of God to be ministered to them more than ever before. There are countless inmates who have been abandoned by friends who promised to support them and family members who were suppose to love them. The Prison Correspondence Ministry gives us an opportunity to reach out and encourage inmates through handwritten or typed letters. These letters contain uplifting words from scriptures and are geared toward winning souls from behind bars. Being able to send out letters to inmates provides an opportunity for those who aren’t able to physically go to the prisons to be a blessing to spread the Gospel to them and ultimately win souls for God’s kingdom.

CCCM Youth Ministry (3CYM)

“We believe that God has a plan for our youth in this season to accomplish great things for His kingdom. At Community Chapel of Christ Ministries, it is important that our youth have a platform for appropriate expression through singing, spoken word, dance, and music. We take great pride in equipping our youth by planting seeds through the Word of God. It is our ultimate goal to ensure that our youth know the Lord for themselves by way of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, being filled with His precious gift of the Holy Spirit, and becoming unshakeable in their beliefs.

Every Sunday, there is a Youth Spotlight segment of our Worship service where two representatives of CCCM Youth are asked to come and summarize what they learned from the sermon delivered on that day. We encourage them to receive, understand, and share the Word of God with others. They are the church of tomorrow who will lead their generation as well as generations to come to the Lord. It is the understanding of the Word and living by it that will ensure they have power to stand, fight against the wiles of Satan, and persevere.
In addition to caring for their spiritual wellbeing, we engage our youth with great fun and fellowship. Throughout the year, we take trips and hosts special events to keep our youth encouraged, inspired, and fulfilled. Additionally, at the end of each month, CCCM Youth hold a F.A.T. (Filled, Anointed, and Thriving) Fridays event where the youth meet for prayer and devotion followed by a fun events such as: bowling, skating, movies, and much more. We believe that our youth should be well-rounded by broadening their horizons in different areas of life, yet staying within the confines of God’s Word and His will. The CCCM Youth ministry is headed by our Minister Tabitha Jackson.
